The Exemys EGW1-1044-IA-MB connects Modbus TCP (Ethernet 10baseT) to serial Modbus ASCII or RTU through 1 RS232 port.  Designed for industrial Modbus applications with on board digital I/O for increased funtionality.

  • Tech Note: EGW1-MB maintains up to 8 TCP connections with multiple masters in slave mode and will translate the messages to the Modbus RTU or ASCII slaves. When all 8 connections are in use and a 9th master tries to connect, EGW1-MB will automatically close the oldest connection to allow the connection to the new master.
